Dreaming...

Just dreaming about having enough time to do everything I need and some of the things I want to do. My friend just sent me a new link to her blog and I realized I hadn't even looked at my blog for weeks...
For those of you that know me well, you would know that calling me at midnight would be preferred to 7am. I am just not a morning person. I am frequently vacuuming the house at 11pm. Plus if the house is clean at midnight it is the longest stretch of time where everything is clean because everyone is asleep:) Anyway, I decided that I needed more FAITH. So after reading some great talks on faith I realized that I need to be more OBEDIENT. So it is finally time for me to become an early riser. Plus it is enticing to think that I can have exercised, read my scriptures, gotten ready for the day, made breakfast and have the kids up and moving all before 8 am if I would exert myself!! So the alarm has been set for Mon thru Friday, for now.
So...I am off to bed. Morning comes quickly:)

Too Funny Margene...I have been thinking the exact same thing. I was just telling Adam tonight at dinner that I think I will start getting up when he does so I can workout, get ready for the day, and have breakfast with the family before they go off to school. But I'm going to give myself another week for this commitment, until school starts. Hope it works for the both of us!

It's totally true! I've been jogging before Josh leaves for work! I get so much more accomplished and feel better for the day when I get up early!

Once you get on a schedule, you will love it.
I still get up fairly early, although today I slept in. I felt like I'd missed most of the day!

Girl, you are entirely too hard on yourself. Getting a long list of things done in the a.m. is just another thing to add to your stress and guilt. If getting up early makes your life easier or more manageable then do it. Otherwise don't add to your list of shoulda's and need to's. Try it out and if it works great, if not drop it like a hot potato.
